Re: Looking for a sampler

Current BBox beta firmware includes autosampling. https://forum.1010music.com/forum/tabletop-instruments/firmware-downloads-aa/blackbox-firmware-downloads/13498-blackbox-1-6-preview-version#post13878 1) Blackbox. Pros: well-supported. Inexpensive (relatively). Eight eurorack-compatible outputs (loop...

Re: Looking for a sampler

I’m following along because I’m in a similar boat.

If you like MPC X, what is it about the Live you don’t like? Not enough outs?

Looks like MC-707 doesn’t do long samples. Not sure though, and maybe not important to you.

Re: Akai MPC One

@dbVelocity
Thanks very much. That helps a lot.

More or less what I expected, but was kinda hoping to be surprised.
F9 might be worth a look and there are one or two expansions I’ve seen that could be useful.
As you say, can always make home-brew.

Thanks again

Re: Akai MPC One

A few people here have one, it seems.
Can you tell us a little about the factory content?
Especially multisample acoustic instruments... aside from piano and guitar?
Akai don’t provide much info here.

(Yeah I know it’s not really about that, but for some odd reason Akai includes those things :))

Shows up on display briefly when module powered on.

The Black one doesn’t need it. The LED’s are behind the front panel and are already much dimmer/softened.

So that means that the Black version comes, in effect, with the Eye Rescue Mod already done?

Something else that I'm not sure i'm doing right. The scenario. If I'm in edit mode and hearing pattern 1 being played and I want to edit and hear pattern 3. Cloning works fine here: tracks, patterns, and layers.

Are you pushing the Stage encoders (rather than the main encoder)?

I can't figure out how to copy a sequence from A to B...and I think it has to be possible but can't find it in the manual. I think this is what you’re lookng for: 5.2.
