In Dec 2004 a guy posted a FS Gentle Electric pitch and envelope at Analogue Heaven email list. Harry Bissell emailed the list to see if the schematics were there as well, and it was. So the guy emails schematics to Harry but there is a clause under no circumstance will Harry give them out to anyone...

Serge (Rex) has four bolts instead of two bolts for the Human Comparator. The Human goes on to say that the sticky tape should be peeled away while the Serge doesn't need to peel away. The Human guys need to fix it right and do four bolts instead of two And don't mess with peeling off this sticky ta...

Here's one eight years ago: https://soundcloud.com/retrosynth-1/serge-sysem-june-6-2007 This was composed on my Serge modular system with no sequencers or controllers. All free running with only input from the operator (me) to effect change. I have several others but I have a stroke 4 1/2 years ago ...

[quote]And just because it comes from STS doesn't mean that it is defacto better. I just finished building two Random*Source PSU's and the housing itself is heads and tails above anything that Rex has ever done with a power supply. Like, times 5. Opening up my PS12a and my PS2a from STS, I was more ...

Muff Wiggler Portland OR 2014 grand opening

Eurorack is king although the Buchla at least showed for 4U of space. No Serge or 5U. I have a couple pictures:

The PS2A is 12 and -12 at .4A a piece. Here's the datasheet HAD12-0.4-AG:

That's weird because I have two HCC-3.4A and HBB-1.7A and I need to build another HCC-3.4 because of the load. At the Analogue Heaven Midwest meeting last month the power supply wasn't big enough for the HBB for three Serge panels. Okay, so the two WADs is a drain as well as four VCO's, five VCF's, ...

A couple of observations: - you only really need two connectors - you need to lengthen at least one more inch - you need holes top and bottom because the unit will get really hot But you know, you really should use Serge PS12 system instead. It is six or seven modules instead of four. (Power One HCC...

I wouldn't risk it. Inside the Blacet rack isn't changeable for 15 and -15 to 12 and -12. You could buy a Power One supply but then you'd have to get an enclosure, a switch, a IEC, and assemble it. Just wait.

It doesn't matter whether it is the Hylander Expansion or the MiniWave, you can't stack them without a switch. The MiniWave has two sockets, and the Hylander has nine. (So 10 total). I was going to stack a couple myself but I'm not sure anyone else will do this. That's why I'm asking.

So question for you. Do you even need stackable? Or is it only one because you did the rackmount nine ROM kits (Larry and Dave).

4 2 3 1 5

You need to take 4 and 2 and 3 and 1 off. Then you jumper 2 and 3 together. Depending on whether it's 220 or 240 connect 5 and 1 off the mains, or if it's 240 then connect 4 and 1 off the mains.

MiniWave MiniROM PPG V3

First off, three years ago I had a stroke and I have to relearn the alphabet as well as reading and spelling. I still can't write it (other than 800 words) but at least the iPad is working. Okay, I need a count of the MiniROM PPG V3 and interest. If enough is interest I'll get the boards made. I can...

Synths as a carry on seems like a really bad idea to me even if the case was designed as a flight case. People routinely talk about carrying their modular on a plane but I've never read of anyone actually doing it. I mean, what do you think the TSA is going to say when they see your modular come up...

There's a lot more work involved than just shipping units to a dealer or Muff to redistribute. I have not sent the panels off to be stuffed nor ordered components to do so. It amazes me how many people will spend thousands if not tens of thousands on synths and then run them through crappy mixers and or effects processors. I don't think this product is for everyone, but if you have over $10k in your modular then this module may be a good fit. My SST-206 was over $1200 ...

To do ping pong you need a pulse divider and a CV mixer. Patch the two step outputs you wish to ping pong between into the CV mixer. Connect the output of the mixer to the input of the pulse divider. Connect the divide by two output of the pulse divider to the sequencer direction input.
