Just finished my build. Seems to work fine (haven't calibrated yet though), but for one small thing: The trigger switches quite often double trig. Is this normal?

When trigging externally it works fine, no double trigging.

Test #6 : - Apply a variable CV to the EXT-MOD input and check if frequency of all the VCOs change. Now, even if you answered it already, I would like you to reflow all the resistors that have a green circle (and more) and send me a photo when this is done. I'm asking this because, for VCO-2 for ex...

I usually solder resistors from the component side, which sometimes make the joints look bad on the rear side. But they aren't really.

It means that the issue is not on the octave switch or octave switch buffer and as thought around the expo converter. We will now try to track down which part of the expo is faulty. Let's start with the following test : Test #3 : - Voltage at pin 6 of IC-2 while changing octave of VCO-1. - Voltage ...

All voltages seem ok. : did you validate all the points with step 1.6 of the calibration Guide ? Also, I've got the feeling this might be the UA741s. On OSC2 is the frequency knob has an effect on the vco frequency but not the octave switch, try replacing IC4 (UA741 , octave switch buffer of VCO-1)...

I'm having trouble with my build. Osc 1 works fine, but 2 and 3 only gives a high frequency output, regardless of octave setting and CV input. On osc2 the frequency knob goes from 1530 to 3250hz, on osc3 it has no effect. Filter tracks fine. Wave shapes look ok. All voltages seem ok. Any ideas where...

If i replace the LF351 with a TL071 it kind of works, but "backwards", ie CV in the CV inputs reduce the (otherwise continuous) output rather than the other way around. Total guess, check orientation of the two pairs of transistors? I guess they'd map to Q2 and Q3, and Q3 and Q4 on the original sch...

I bought MCP4811-E/SN, and they do not work. Too big. Just so you don't make the same mistake.

Is there a compiled firmware file available somewhere? Source code is good and all, of course, but at the moment i would prefer to not have to install an entire IDE (with additional libraries) just to upload the firmware, at least not if avrdude could do the job.
