Re: [4U] Outsie, a basic output utility

I ordered them through Seeed Studio, pcbs came out great. You have to buy 5 at a minimum so maybe ordering a bunch and selling yourself? I need to redo the panel though, my friend made me a paper design but the orientation on the output knobs and jacks was off. I also ordered the wrong pots for the ...

That panel looks great BUT not getting both random outs from the digital noise is a HUGE mistake. Go for the second jack and put the LEDS off grid to the right a bit and above, sort of how you have them in the divider.
Didn't even notice it had a second one, added. Thanks!

Re: Front Panel Proof Reading Thread

Hoping to get a second set of eyes on this one off panel idea. The goal was a panel of Ken's original designs. I used the BOCGS panels as the starting point for most of the modules layouts so nothing particularly novel here. Right now I'm using Futura for the font but might change that. The Sub Osci...

Re: OKEFENOKEE BUILD THREAD

So I'm just finishing up my build and I'm loving this panel! I had a couple questions that maybe one of your previous builders can shed some light on. 1. The duration wiring on the Envelope generator seems redundant, to have attenuation before what is essentially aa attenuverter. Maybe I am missing ...

Re: Ian Fritz Build Thread - Slider PCB error fix on pg 3

I forgot to order enough 5.6 zener diodes :bang:
But I do have a ton of 5.1 zener though. I believe they should be an ok substitution on the TGTSH and possibly the ADAR Plus, but I'd love a second opinion. Thanks!

lasesentaysiete First off thanks for all your help! Here is what I have done so far: For calibration checked the voltage on the pressure out and pressed each key then let go, then starting with trimmers top CW and bottom CCW I calibrated them to get the lowest possible voltage out. This usually req...

They all have a similar effect to the other trimmers they just start at a much higher voltage before being trimmed down. I believe the trimmers looked good when I checked them but I'll double check when I get home and get back to you. Otherwise I suggest checking component values. The problem is li...

Scans for most of the La67 PCBs (including the 112) can be found HERE Hey guitarfool, that site is super helpful, thanks for doing that! Upon further inspection it looks like three of the 12 sections are outputting a higher pressure off value (over 1.5V while the other channel's are < 1). These thr...

Thanks for posting the calibration procedure I’ve got everything looking good except the pressure sits around 4v when nothing is pressed and gate remains high at 15. I think I have an incorrect resistor value somewhere. Is there any chance you post a scan of the 112a PCB. I can’t really read all the...

Any update on the 112a calibration. I’m seeing a constant 15V on the gate out and am wondering if calibration might be the solution. Thanks!

Not sure how helpful this is, but from http://buchlatech.blogspot.com/2008/10/107-voltage-controlled-mixer.html After some reverse engineering of my PCB and a picture that I got of someone else's 107 guts, I came to realize this module is the equivalent of ten 110 gate modules tied to two output cha...

Didn't have any luck asking in the DIY forum, so figured I'd try here. Does anybody have the schematics for the VCFS? I'm having trouble debugging mine without them.

Random Source Serge VCFS Build issue 4u TH

I just put together the 4u thru hole version of the serge filter 4x4. The VCFQ works perfectly but the VCFS(V1.02) has 2 chips, ic3 and p1, that overheat when plugged in.The rails are not shorted and I can't find any other shorts on the board. Some of the continuity seems odd but I can't tell if its...
