The UI on Absynth wasn't very well liked either but I personally was fine with it and don't have a problem with this one. I haven't used it a ton but so far I'm still preferring Absynth for whatever reason.

Push 2 gets a FW update that adds poly aftertouch.

I'm running the beta and my Push 2 didn't even need an update, it was just an option on the setup page. Which really makes no practical difference I just thought it was interesting.
