Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

i just noticed that also the last slot of x and y axis seems to contain a copy from the first slot of that axis. so wavetable 1 and 8 are the same. (also 8 and 16, 16 and 24, 24 and 32) same is true for z. so wavetablebank 1 and 8 are identical as well. is this a special setting? This only occurs w...

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

Maybe it's like that because in Morph mode there is always a base preset that sets the parameters which are not able to get morphed without discontinuities like unison. When you morph through the presets, depending on where you start it always sounds different for every base preset. I believe Morph...

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

is it possible to morph between random generated presets without saving them? when randomizing the current preset it instantly changes the sound, right. i wonder if it is possible to drift/morph from one randomized preset to the next? Yes to all. No, this is not possible. You can only morph through...

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

Thanks, but i have no sh mk2. I wish there were a simpler way to dial/scan through a wavetablebank than using 2 lfos or multiple channels of a sequencer. However, this is part of the ph design so will deal with it and see where i get with it. btw. can someone please comment this: is it possible to ...

Had to capture the beat as I was pleased by its simplicity. Ridrum TK-01 for Kickdrum Feedback Noise into Belgrad and Polaris for whole rest of drums, altered by a joystick. Added some Verbos bassline, Make Noise and Red Panel for efx and Morphagene for Synth melody https://youtu.be/lcC0qQftk2I Dam...

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

and maybe something more obvious: how do i scan thru a whole wavetable-bank (64 wavetables) with the phmk3 – from the begining to the end in one go using the the cv ins? Using the Stillson Hammer mk II : set ch I to be an 8 step sequence on CV Out of ch I dial in each step (1-8) to correspond to th...

Re: Piston Honda MKII

that's a great write up of the differences, thanks! might make me do it now. was concerned about the improved sound quality because i love the sound of this thing, but your description of the v2.52 improvement is desirable. one question though, does it restore all the default wave roms? i wouldn't ...

Re: Piston Honda MKIII dual morphing wavetable oscillator

is it possible to use more than 512 wavetables (8 wt-banks a 64 wavetables) on the ph mk3? multiple micro-sd´s with different set of banks? 512 wt´s might be enough. but iam curious if there is a way… No. 512 is fine from my experience. I've enver felt like needing more. same goes for the presets. ...

Re: HERTZ DONUT MARK III - shipping now!

Here is HD3 with DA2. So flexible, dynamic, and expressive. They are playing the "stereo groove with two trumpets", of which one part is often processed by OTO Machines BIM. (New to me, BIM is an audio delay that is fine and nummy-sounding; especially if you fondly remember the AMS DMX 15-80, Delta...

Re: Kermit mk III - coming soon

Just about to update Kermit. The update txt says: Connect your Pickit to the USB port, and connect the Pickit cable to the 6-pin header on the back of the module. Make sure “Pin 1” on the module is aligned with the triangle symbol on the Pickit. So, which one is pin 1 on the module? Not a big deal....

Indeed. The Cyclebox is not a dual or complex oscillator, but it makes very silly noises indeed. :fap:

This is the perfect exemplar of where modern drum'n'bass is. I'm unsure why or how, but the entire dnb scene subconsciously migrated to the zenith of the cutting sonic edge.
I prefer Emptyset or Kangding Ray, thanks.
HUGE Emptyset fan as well.

Forgive me if this has already been answered, but,

Does SH2 have a way to Tap Tempo without using other modules?

TY

It's not tap tempo, but you can dial in the bpm to one decimal place, e.g., 130.7 bpm.

Doesn't look like I'll ever be able to find the ROM expander thingee though. O well.
It shows up occassionally.
Or contact your local Harvestman Fanclub and see if anyone can hook you up.

Re: Kermit mk III - coming soon

I’ve been trying to understand preset morphing on Kermit 3, and haven’t been able to get settings to morph from one preset to another, instead settings seem to morph to other random settings, which is also great and fun but leaves me feeling like I don’t understand what is happening. Anyone playing...
