Re: (searching gear vids) unsettling" youtube suggestions lately?
The only youtube synth video content which has ever truly scarred me deeply is.. shudder... 'Doctor Mix'. Feel bad hating on anyone and honestly I know that this sort of reaction is just due to an extreme clash in aesthetic preferences + style and editing, but those videos cause me physical pain

Re: Question re: phrase sampler mode
Hi all, just wondering if anyone here has spent much time with the phrase sampler mode? I just got my Magneto yesterday and along with the good stuff (immediately jumping into making piles of beautiful dense saturated reversed rhythmic feedback noise goodness) I hit a point of confusion, so wanted ...

(BTW that said - I'm not suggesting that no one should buy Behringer gear, just that there are valid reasons for people to have questions about the means by which their prices are made so low, and to determine for themselves whether that matters to them. The Neutron looks interesting, FWIW, and I do...

I sure hope nobody having a go at Behringer for manufacturing in China, or using cheap parts, uses any products from Roland, Yamaha, Apple, Intel, AMD... oh wait :hmm: There are very few manufacturers that don't try to minimize their expenses either by using the cheapest available parts, underpayin...

Is the BFF mono or poly? I'm pretty sure I heard from the Namm videos that it's poly, well it has 4 mono tracks (confirmed by the 4 CV outs on the box) Yeah this aspect of the synth is a little confusing; it seems from watching both interviews that the BFF has 4 separate piston honda inspired wavet...

Can anybody confirm the MIDI B CV out sending V/Oct? Tried it with my MS20 VCO1/2 input and could barely get an octave of tuning :help: Hmm, the MS20 is not V/oct but V/Hertz, right??? Yeah, you're not going to get tracking on an MS-20 straight out of a V/oct CV output. There are some tricks you ca...

I have rather basic skiff at the moment (Tides/Clouds/Peaks/Mother 32) and the Tides+Clouds combo has been making me smile for nearly 6 months now. Tides as an OSC and record sounds into Cloud's buffer, freeze it. Then us the Tides Parasite Two Drunks mode to randomly modulate Clouds and trigger gr...

Tons of goodness awaits you
Honestly, I've been shocked (as someone who likes hardware) by how large of a part of my workflow the iPad has become since I got it; I was never really enamored of VSTs, either (no moral objections or anything, just didn't click with the workflow), but view the iPad as being a sort of half-hardware...
