I'm actually interested in how demand for new modules is changing. To me it seems that big sellers like Perfect Circuit and Ctrl do sales more often, for longer periods of time, often extending the sale window in ways neither were doing a few years ago. Anyone else noticing the same thing? Are these...

OK, this a a very specific kind of demo. Hope its of some use to the debate. Sorry its a bit long but, you know how it is. Disclaimers :- Melodic drone is my catnip, its what I love so for the past few weeks I've been making my own wavetables to my own taste. They are intentionally limited in terms...

Good stuff in here, I'd also add ALM009 as a nice looking 8hp quad option:

Mutant Snare will definitely cut through your mix. It's 808 inspired but it can do much more. You can use ext-in if you want to vary up the noise source. The 3 different resonance modes that can go very aggro. Recommended!

What I like about polyphony features in modules like Chord and Harmonaig are the way facilitate the sequencing in particular. I haven't experimented with either yet, but the idea of using a simple but varied AD from Maths to create generative chord progressions that sound 'musical' intrigues me more...

I did a little test, first you'll here the raw recording followed by paulstretch slowing it down with some reverb and stereo effect added to it. https://soundcloud.com/doctornode/paulstretched-voice Avi Kaplan can hit some pretty low notes and also do overtone singing so I feel like they only had t...

O-Coast is great for sound generation, Maths will give you all kinds of interesting CV flexibility. a modular effect unit might really open your sound design possibilities, something like Erbe-Verb, or maybe one of the 4ms effects modules. Plenty of possibility! :bananaguitar:

I first came across the technique via noise music performers, a cheapy analog mixer and some guitar pedals can generate all kinds of dynamic chaos. Haven't experimented too much in euro, but "tamers" like Instruo Tanh seem very interesting.

Or, god forbid, even before ... (ave...
