Re: Best module combinations of different designers

Trigger Man (or any trigger seq with lots of outputs) --> Just Friends --> Verbos Bark Filter or Harmonic Oscillator.

Re: VERBOS ELECTRONICS

ATC vs. Amp & Tone Anyone who has used both--what is your impression now that they've been out for a while? The early impressions I saw of Amp & Tone were not so good. I've had ATC for years and have always considered it a favorite. I hadn't used it in a while and yesterday I ended up doing a long c...

Re: Intellijel Tetrapad

Is it possible to get AD envelopes from Tete instead of gates? (or a slewed decay?)

I'm putting Tete/Tetrapad into a smaller case and I have to take the current envelope generator out to make room.

Re: Harvestman setups

Both DAs seem very cool but I've never felt the need for one. More than enough ground covered by my original combo of Intellijel mew-vca + maths. Plus any number of other envelopes, filters, lpgs etc. And most recently those wonderful glitchy AD waves on Kermit 3 (an effect I've patched by hand for ...

Re: Intellijel Tetrapad

Would love to hear more examples of the Tete as a sequencer and/or for chords. I'm trying to decide if it's really necessary, given that I already have several sequencers (and things that can be used as touch interfaces).

Re: BionicLester mk3, Andore Jr, Kermit mk3, Malgorithm mk3

I'm glad the MK 3 stuff is coming out slowly because I may end up buying all of it. I am curious about the Malgo though. A bitcrusher isn't something that needs higher fidelity, so I wonder if he will focus on the wavefolder or how it will be different from MK 2 beyond having a preset manager. Agree...

combos in my head, especially for C/D in and out routing.
I find it easier to start with the C and D to modulate A and B. Haven't done too much cross mod because it gets chaotic in a hurry. Simply applying a slow waveform morph to A and B gives you a lot of flexibility.

Re: Bionic Lester mk III: Sound Demos

^^As someone who loves to have a dozen manufacturers slapped together in a case. I agree, BL3 is really good for the PH3 (although I also like a vanilla lowpass gate for a more organic sound). Just got it yesterday. At first, I was disappointed with the sound of the single channel filters. They soun...

Re: HERTZ DONUT MARK III - shipping now!

Nice track Simasis! I just "discovered" that HD's AUX out patched to a lowpass gate ike Optomix is excellent for percussion. My current patch is: Op A+B set to Free and A-B Link. Slow, light cv to (or a sequence) to the v/oct on op A. Cross-modulate to taste. Send to Optomix and strike. Put a Malgor...

Re: Bionic Lester MK3

Pops when it goes from zero into overdrive with a quick envelope? Or pops at any time when the vca is being modulated? If it's like the vca performance on the Malgo and PH mk2, I can live with that. I never expected to use those as a substitute for "clean" analogue vcas. I'm more concerned with the ...

I still have not even scratched the surface of presets. I've been having some difficulty with the Donut lately and I can't figure out why. When I'm just playing around with it I get great sounds but I've been struggling to implement it in patches in interesting ways. I think a little more planning a...

DPO & Honda really cover a lot of ground together. Jealous of the Akemie's Castle. Several modules I'm not familiar with at all. Work flow looks intimidating to me.

What are your first impressions with the Multi Delay ? I recorded a lot with the Multi Delay over the weekend. You can make rhythms just with a very simple beat through the manual mix. Many ways to patch with so many outputs--you can create a complex rhythmic stereo mix by running some individual o...

I've been on a minimal techno kick lately. Haven't recorded much but just long droning patches with muted drums and heavy use of the Bark filter (and sometimes HO & ATC) for various purposes. Adding the Multi Delay today to go further in this direction. I'd love to hear what others have been doing w...

so the CV inputs are used for triggers in the one-shot envelope mode?

I assume 1-axis waveform morphing means it will hold 8 waves at a time?

I have no space for it and was not interested in the first Kermit but this looks absolutely nuts.

12 hp? 10 I could maybe squeeze in somewhere but 12 is tough.

I'm curious how robust it will be as an envelope generator, what kind of modulation of envelopes will be possible.

Confused by your second request. I can't check at the moment but doesn't the module power on in its last state? - please consider some kind of "auto-save current preset when module powers down" option for these mk3 modules. it could be something the owner elects to engage or not. I have too many god...

one year later, I broke down and ordered one. Verbos put up some good videos of how it can interact with the Bark Filter which finally sold me (the Bark paired with any delay is fantastic). This will be in addition to Modcan Dual Delay, Tyme Sefari 2, Morphagene, and Clouds, and Springray. I think m...

Is the custom case for it available yet?

Any idea if it would it have issues with the power in a 4MS Pod?

based on what he's said this year, Lester will be out next, then Andore Jr, then Malgo and Kermit late this year or next year. Timeline might be slower than that though. He's got a lot on his plate. I wouldn't hold my breath on any firmware updates or other things until further announcements. I've n...
