Timeline and Moogerfooger 12 stage phaser. Just need to find a chorus and I'll slow it right down in the pedal department.

The Korgasmatron II is ace. I get a small amount of high frequency bleed when all of the drive stages are cranked up, but even then it's not noticeable within the context of a mix. The crossfade, CV inputs & switches makes it more than the sum of its parts.

I'd be looking at a few filters considering the amount of sound sources you have! To repeat a couple of the above responses… Ripples is an excellent, bread & butter filter. Industrial Music Electronics Polivoks filter is something else, lot's of character, very aggressive. Intellijel microVCF is sup...

Im considering getting a Heat but im not sure whether i'd be able to use it as i intend. Can you use the Heat as a sends/return device via overbridge with different settings for different tracks at the same time within the same "project"? You can't use different settings for different tracks. You c...

Glad I'm not the only one experiencing issues with the Analog Heat Overbridge plugin. Makes ableton crash 2/3 times when opening it up.

Branches outputs "random" gates. You might want to consider the erica synths pico RND or the WMD/SSF Modbox.

I have no experience with either Pamela's Workout or Tempi. I use the Noise Engineering Zularic Repetitor for trigger pattern sequencing.

Branches is not a substitute for a wogglebug, they're different beasts altogether. You've already got some random in the 1u tiles.

I'd definitely go for the Quadra. A ring modulator would be cool.

There has been at least one VCO sine wave test posted on this forum in which Dixie wins as the purest sine. I don't really know why you want a perfect sine if you are doing drone, but for every pure sine you don't need a filter, so maybe you can sacrifice a self oscillating filter as your sine gene...

Ok cool. I hear a couple of different things going on in those and you don't NEED to fork out a bunch of money. I'm not familiar with the wavestation but it sounds like you want to keep it ITB. A VST with 2 oscillators per voice will get you in a ballpark area. Detuning and subtle pulse width modula...

Im surprised there isn't more talk of the new engines that came out with 1.3. There are 12 of them and it feels like i have a brand new drum machine. I was very happy with my rytm before but now it really feels like a drum machine killer. The new engines also feature lots of interesting synthesis o...

Fixed.

Perhaps the tea kick needs a bigger trigger voltage? I'm not all that familiar with either the tea kick or bsp so take my advice with a pinch of salt.

Perfect, I was playing a bit of Devil's Advocate with my question as it's come up elsewhere recently when someone was selling their E&S. To cut it short, it turned into an absolute shitstorm of critics of the High End mixer who have probably never used one themselves (neither have I, but I can't exa...

I don't want to piss on any bonfires here, but can anyone explain why these mixers cost so much and what is it about them that supposedly makes them sound great? I understand economy of scale plays a part in the cost, but what else?
