Re: [AVAILABLE] TTSH V4 Build Thread

Hi all, Having trouble with the Internal Clock. It does not generate a pulse. The slider is only lit solid on power up if both trim pots are maxed, but eventually goes dark within several minutes if not touched. If raised more that 3/4 it always goes dark. Lit or dark it doesn't pulse. The S&H is wo...

I’ll understand ex comes with a discount code for Spitfire stuff. Can someone share the details on that?

If they align back to back (as these do I think), I just stick them together with thermal tape.

Thank you very much.
I’m not worried if it’s just a matter of correctly stuffing boards.
Can I assume the V2 board screens to be correct?
I’ll register w/FB and get all the details, but possible board screen inaccuracy is a worry

It is very likely too much work. It’s thousands of parts with zero documentation (for the v2 which is currently sold). DIY you save about $1000 off retail. It’s a big savings but not worth the time if the builder doesn’t really enjoy the process. I’m just starting mine. I had expected 40+ hours of w...

This is great module and a very easy build for what you get.
All L-1 modules are great, but this one and and the Dual Analog ADSR are absolutely tops.

I received mine yesterday as well and so far am very impressed. As an OSC, mixing outputs (with Comp on) and feeding them back through EFM yields a huge variety of wave shapes. Combining this with tuned, audio rate input to the hold circuit adds even more. I too have a lot more digging to do, but so...

Today I got the idea that it would be nice if you could change the sets of values of delay times set with the time knobs and the three position switches. I often find it hard to easily move from one time setting to another because the sixteen available times on the knob are so densely placed around...

This!
Mult is probably fine but a mixer is much better.
(I’ll add that an “and” circuit is just a vca in case you want to go crazy with logic)

The DFAM is a unique approach to semi-modular synthesis. I wholeheartedly believe it will be considered a classic and will be remembered for many, many years. The Mother is a fairly standard semi-modular design that sufferes from a complicated UI full of button combos and other sub-optimal features....

I don’t know about a uScale2 as a business move. It would be tough for a quantizer to be better, more attractive than uO&C.

Just to say, I’ve many cases using the studio bus and have never had any issue whatsoever. Very clean, no noise, easy tin install, easy to maintain, always great service. Sometimes TipTop seems to get the piss, and I want to express some support for them, all they do and all they’ve done.

Neb 2 does have a simple delay but it is not a replacement for DLD. The Nebula delay is mono, has no sync, no feedback loop, no hold, cannot do Karplus Strong, etc. It is however coupled with a stock C Sound reverb. All that said, Neb 2 is an open DSP platform sporting a rPi3 board. Programming a ro...

Honestly, I’m just fine without it. I find Neb to be great as is. I’d rather bounce sounds to The DAW anyhow where I can clean them up and trim for length.
What I’m waiting for is a test environment for some of my own code.

I’m looking forward to the day when some of the very creative people working on secondary, open-source projects will improve the base module rather than just miniaturize it. For instance, with Marbles, it’d be great if someone developed a product/firmware that allowed for precise octave and key tran...

Can you correct this with the size knob? I’d expect moving it a little bit ccw would shorten the tape.
