Re: Gamechanger Audio Light Pedal

But I don't understand what the light is doing. Isn't the audio going through one end of the spring and out the other anyway? Isn't the light just an indicator for modulation being done to the audio after its come back out the spring? those are infrared emitting diodes on the one side. on the other...

New gear from Moog, what would you like to see happen.?

:hmm: ...

- eurorack modules targeting the berhinger system 55 as "genuine moog" upgrades or add-ons (e.g. 904C, 1630).

- a cheaper version of 'one'.

your thoughts?

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

i suspect that in some ways a least, behringer is trying to establish (or, some might say, "commodify") analog synthesizers as an instrument family alongside the traditional brass, wood, wind, stringed and percussive instrument families. and just as there are groups and sub-groups of instrument type...

Korg MS-20 FS with four case color options

Image

i'm a bit surprised no one has mentioned these here yet. i think it's an interesting move by korg (and wonder if this portends a multi-color 2600 FS re-release at some point). i kind of like the blue one.

Saw them live five times from Presto thru Counterparts did they play the 2112 overture at any of those shows? i saw them play it once - i think it was the presto tour (but it also could have been 'hold your fire' - alas, my concert memories tend to blur together). it was amazing! anyways, r.i.p. ne...

But its not about hate, its about using our purchasing power to support positive outcomes. And sometimes the positive outcome that benefits the community as a whole may go against what we perceive as our personal self interest, such as buying an inexpensive synthesizer from a bad actor. And logical...

Re: Open source being used commercially

agree with the above - and also, the term "open source" refers specifically to computer software (which has source code). it doesn't really mean anything in relation to electronic circuit designs or schematic diagrams. otoh i do suppose that instruction sets (i.e. formatted binary numbers containing...

3 x CEM3340 VCO poly with DeepMind's effects section (with effects parameters as modulation destinations) and with the Andromeda's architecture, including the "Pre Filter" mixer section. 8 voices would be good, although 16 voices would seal the deal. :hmm: i'd like to see something similar for the ...
