Re: NI Maschine+ standalone groovebox
Also can one use Granular Reaktor esembles like GrainLight or Granö? I doubt but maybe... so many users report glitches and freezes even with basic drum synths and effects... Probably more logical for granular and more experimental type of sounds just to sample modular, laptop or any other device an...

Re: NI Maschine+ standalone groovebox
I am pretty sure you can make tiny loops and you can modulate start time. Not many LFOs or anything. I've never used an octatrack. You can do some modulation and effects stuff, eg. FM or frequency shifting to samples. Manual is online! They need to fix the filesystem urgently. Thnx for the info. Ye...

Re: NI Maschine+ standalone groovebox
Are there any new users around? Wondering if it’s possible to loop one shot samples, decrease sample length to the “wave” and play it polyphonically? Is it possible to modulate sample start? How many LFOs? Some granular options? How does it compares with Octatrack in terms if sample mangling?

Re: Roland support nightmare- I need a knob!
Yeah, sounds like the best thing to do is just take good pictures of the cat nibbles and try to sell it as-is. Preferably along with a picture of the cute, furry culprit.. I fetched my friend’s TR8s anyway, and will see if any of the ‘standard knobs’ look good with it. I could post pics tomorrow if...

Re: Roland support nightmare- I need a knob!
A cat-damaged groovebox probably has *more* value on muffs! Really :cat2:? Actually maybe I worry too much and it’s ok to list it as it is and for someone it won’t be a problem (maybe he or she will add a custom knob according to liking ). For me it would be also ok to trade it to some makenoise mo...

Re: Roland support nightmare- I need a knob!
Kinda looks like it might be the same knob as the encoder on a TB-3. If it’s really the same part, Syntaur has them for $9.95: https://syntaur.com/Items.php?Item=2215 I have no idea what shipping to Moscow would cost, but perhaps Syntaur has enough other stuff that you need to make it worthwhile.. ...

Re: Roland support nightmare- I need a knob!
Heh... funny thing is she never did it before with other gear, so something about this type of plastic Roland use nowadays feels super tasty for cats.
Maybe they better switch to goods for pets?!

Re: Roland support nightmare- I need a knob!
It’s convenient that there’s only one knob like that, so it doesn’t really need to match anything. Any black d-shaft knob that’s about the right size should look pretty good. I’ll go get my friend’s TR8s and see if any of the standard things work well. I’ll have pics for you in a couple of days. Th...

Roland support nightmare- I need a knob!
Since last 2 months I’m trying to find a replacement knob (just a plastic cap not the encoder itself ) for Roland TR8s drummachine. It’s a top right VALUE knob. First I’ve sent message to local Roland office and they told me they can’t help and sent me to the official service center, at the service ...

Re: Multiplying clock in BB
if you feed the LFO (tri or saw - won't work with the pulse) into a wave folder, you can multiply the trig signal in sync with the original rate, but I don't think it will allow for precise and equal divisions. Interesting though for generating rhythms Thanks will try it at least. The idea in this ...

Multiplying clock in BB
I’m using really slow LFO (vco in lfo mode) to modulate Orgone, at the same time there’s second pulse vco out which I can use to trig the sequencer. So the question is: is there any way to multiply the pulse to make it play 16x or 64x or even faster?

Re: Looking for standalone sound design sampler.
Euro system with morphogene / instruo sampling modules can do the trick and with right choice of modules quality will be good and approach will b quite refreshing and inspirational. It will b much more expensive than a standalone sampler (I guess be prepared for +3k budget ), and limited in some way...

Re: blippoo box
Does anyone have an idea if Blippoo can be modded with cv inputs for A / B rates and Rungler cv control? Would be perfect to add just a switch and have all outs available at the moments as cv inputs.

Re: FS1R control method
Very stable. In Ableton Live, click on MIDI (top right) to see the parameters you can map. If you want to control other FS1R parameters, simply assign them as destination in iLovFS1RPlay CTRL part. Sources kn1,kn2,kn3,kn4,mc1,mc2,mc3,mc4 have midi CC 16,17,18,19,20 Nice to know! Thanks for feedback...

Norand Mono
Seems like super nice bassline type of synth with extended options, very clever sequencer and really serious modulation features, and of course killer sound. A bit overpriced (even with a scaring evil pre order price of 666 euros ) or not really? https://i.ibb.co/Rp1Kffv/e625190.png https://norand.io/

Re: FS1R control method
So... after another 10 years, have someone found a good hardware solution to control FS1r? Would be amazing to have faders for oscs tuning, routings, algos, all the fm modulation part, all the weird things. It’s still incredibly powerful and nice sounding device. Can’t think of anything similar! And...
