Re: SH-1 vs SH-101

Don't get me wrong, of course having super modded 101 in a perfect shape is amazing. Killer tool. But after owning some vintage synths for 20 - 25 years, I've started to get tired of the old character.

Re: SH-1 vs SH-101

Well - size, style, features ( a lot of good things in sequencer area ), form factor, more years without need to service. And honestly, I like its sound more than original, played with it a bit on SB2019, it emulates the 101 really well but at the same time everything is juat a bit more tight, adjus...

Re: SH-1 vs SH-101

Sh2 is killer... still regret selling it a bit. Massive baseline monster. But it’s a bit less “elastic” sounding than 101, more 70s archaic big electronic sound, so it depends on personal requirements and taste. Sh1, well... I would hold horses and investigate more. There are so many SH type of mach...

Re: Rotating oscillators patch in BB

You could absolutely do that with a sequential switch. Four sound sources to the four inputs of a sequential switch, gate/trigger output of your control source to the trig input of the switch. You could change the position of the switch in your signal path depending on the resources you have a avai...

Rotating oscillators patch in BB

Some of you probably familiar with rotating oscillator function implemented in Korg Mono/Poly, Moog Matriarch, Vermona Perfourmer and probably other synths. Basically in this mode each new note played by keyboard, sequencer or arpeggiator trigger a new VCO in row, one by one, and despite all OSCs pl...

Advice on analog mixer

I know it was discussed before here and there, but still I need an advice. I'm looking for opinions on analog mixer for studio and live. My old Allen Heath Mix Wizard 20:8:2 is starting to show age - noisy pots and drop outs, impossible to play, too annoying... and small old Mackie 1202 is dead. I w...

Bastl Kastle 1.5 is a nice travel companion.
+ add battery powered Digitakt for recording, sequencing and mangling.

Re: DRM1X&DRM2

Amazing to see how fast you get your DRM1 + Xs deals (or even two deals in this case incl. The lost one).
After a few years of hunting I only get one offer, but even that time seller decided to keep it after a few weeks of negotiations.

Re: New Website (finally!) LIVE

Congrats on new site, looks good!

However, what I will really miss is the info on each old module from the old web site, it was extremely useful and especially for newbies in BB world. Maybe there's a way to add all the info in archive part?

Re: DRM1 Sample Library

Did anyone ever get around to doing this? I just picked up a DRM1x to compliment my recent 2Frame. Once I tame the beast a bit, I could take a stab at some traditional drum sounds through filter, delay, saturation, compressor, etc. Would be good to have some sounds for my own Radio Music and other ...

Nice to know! Thanks! Sounds really good!

Another proof that I need to find DRM1X anyway.
Orgone in drum mode is also very useful, played a few live sets with it as a main percussion with a little help from radio music.

Re: Frac envelope generators

What functionality from "DUSG" are you missing? I never played with maths or dusg, so all my experience based on reviews and demos, anyways, what I find really impressive is of course their dual nature, ability to apply slew, depth control incl. going to negative, option to integrate, mix and proce...

Re: twin rack FX unit? (w/ stereo?)

Didn’t know that prices raised so much. Got mine for about hundred bucks about 10 years ago, still use it, very flexible and powerful. There were also dp2, but I think it’s not dual machine unit, just stereo.

Since the demand for DRM1x is still quite high, maybe there’s a chance to make the final run this or next year? Would be awesome, since the prices are crazy, someone was trying to sell one without expander for 800 bucks...

New aux card sounds also very exciting!
Any details on that? Will it work with earlier versions?
What about new functions? I was thinking to order one today but since there’s new one around the corner, it’s worth to wait.

Re: Orgone Accumulator MK2: alternative firmware.

Anyway, do you think it should work with my early revision? Nice experiments with programming! Congrats! Totally like the idea of separate ...
