AutoClub EP vinyl pre-orders

The very first AutoClub release is now available for pre-order. AutoClub is Autokinetic + Midnight Music Club. We create and perform electronic music live on hardware. This is the first of several 12" releases we have lined up over the next couple of years. https://midnightmusicclub.bandcamp.com/alb...

I rarely share my sketches but this is a sketch using a Circuit preset.

Thanks for that. The dedicated noise output would be useful.
It is for sure as are the dedicated outputs for velocity and aftertouch. Turns it in to a powerful MIDI/CV convertor as well.

yes. There are solder points on the PCB. I took a 2 HP passive mult and converted it to a "sidecar" for the Mod dock.
Oh, nice, never even thought to look. Thanks!

Re: I love Vermona

In the past I had a DRM MKIII which I will get again soon and 2x Mono Lancets with mod docks and a custom breakout 2hp "sidecar" that had jacks wired in for LFO out, pitch bend, velocity, aftertouch, VCF output and noise outputs. They were great fun but I ended up selling them to get the PerFOURmer...

Re: I love Vermona

I think the build quality is exceptional. Very satisfying to twist their knobs. Their output modules sound fantastic. But their quad lfo module is really not my cup of tea. Way too big. Way too expensive. And it does not sync properly. So I do not recommend that one. I've used the Fourmulator for y...

Re: Is the Alpha Juno 2 really that tedious to program without the PG-300?

The AJ2 is one of my favorite polys. I would take an AJ2/MKS50 and $600 over a 106 any day.

MMC-001 3 track EP 01/06/2020

MMC-001 drops today! Old school, "warehouse" music. There are still some of the very limited edition 12"s left plus all 3 tracks are available digitally as well.

Re: Is the Alpha Juno 2 really that tedious to program without the PG-300?

You can only edit one parameter at a time but other than that, it's not really that bad. Step through parameters and use the data wheel to change the values. It's tedious but the synth has a fairly simple architecture so it's not like you're going to get lost. The envelopes are complex but the rest ...

What kind of music specifically? Well I want to use samples in a way that Depeche Mode likely used an Emulator on a few of their albums but not interest in making music that sounds anything like theirs, to be able to sequence samples in a sparse way but to also loop them in a way that isn’t neces...

Are most the people here who have been using it doing so mainly in the love set-up for dance music? I guess the inverse of my question is have many found it’s workflow and limitations suitable for studio work making non-dance music? Using its sampling and sequencing abilities for things other tha...

so i have a sort of work flow / project management question. If you are putting together a set with multiple tracks together in the MPC say for live set, is the only way to do this by putting all tracks in the same project? Just finally started diving into the Force and really digging it for it's U...

I've been seeing people rep for the sound quality of the Bass Station II ever since it came out. This box features (most of) its synthesis engine, so I'm puzzled by the lack of enthusiasm on display here. I picked one up during the half-price sale, because how could you not? (And kudos to the OP fo...

looked at MV-8800 specs. 48 x 48 x 13,5 cm, 9 kg. definitely not a box i would tour with, especially if i'm not a superstar, and especially in 2019 (and low cost airlines will only cut down allowed luggage sizes more and more). on the other hand, 707 was instant (almost impulse) purchase for me, be...

I can guarantee you most people who comment negatively about the mono station are clueless and trash other threads with their lack of knowledge. Pretty much all of the presets sound very "Guitar Center" to me but boot it up with an init patch and you get an idea of what the raw sound of it is like and it's honestly quite good. I spent some time just playing it like I would any other mono synth from an external keyboard and was very impressed...
