That said, I used the Serge quantizer a lot as an audio effect when I had the ASR/Quan module. It sounds like sample rate or bit reduction, depending on the source material.

Nice!

Also, is this all in one m-panel? I'd love to see a photo - color me intrigued!
Sure, here it is!

Value advice on STS M-panel

Hi, I'm planning to sell one of my Serge STS m-panels (PreAmp / Triple Waveshaper / Mix Pro / ASR / Quantizer), but I have no idea what the value of a panel like this is nowadays, looked in our 'for sale thread' for references but couldn't find any. Can you please advice? Thanks?

If you could upload a shot of the UNDERside of your WAD boards that would be nice. I can't imagine mine was like this when built.

Re: Problems with Serge Klangzeit panel

I went ahead and bought a new (old stock) SAD chip on eBay, will try and see if this solves things. Otherwise I'll look into asking someone to replace these trimmers for multi-turn ones. Thanks for all the info folks, really appreciate it!

Re: Problems with Serge Klangzeit panel

I hope he doesn't mind me sharing, it's quite rudimental: "There are 3 trimmers in the WAD PCB. The one that sits over by itself is the "DC offset" parameter Best to leave this one be The other two trimmers that are near the SAD 1024 Delay chips are the DC Bias adjustment. The one that is associated...

Re: Problems with Serge Klangzeit panel

In my case, it works intermittently. If I leave the panel completely disconnected from the power supply for at least 45 minutes, then Delay B starts working again. Once I reconnect the power and start using the panel, the output from Delay B gradually drops over the course of about 30 minute, until...

Problems with Serge Klangzeit panel

I have an issue with my Klangzeit m-panel; the ‘Delay B’ output on the WAD suddenly stopped working  (the rest of the panel still functions fine) I've emailed Rex but didn't get a reply as of yet (is he still using the '@sbcglobal.net' address..?) Does any of you know of a place that repairs Se...

Re: Cwejman owners, current or past

I have pretty much all the modules. Never sold one. So many reasons to love; VCOs and filters track like no other brand, super versatile, sounddesign heaven. Here's a few examples of how they can sound: https://soundcloud.com/poly_mod/nostalgic-arp https://soundcloud.com/poly_mod/hand-held-sonar htt...

Two new tracks featuring a Jupiter 8

Here are the first two singles of my upcoming album:

Both tracks feature a Jupiter 8 for the main synth sounds, and have layers of modular synth (Eurorack/Cwejman and Serge)

Full album will be out on 28.02: http://timefalling.com

If you know your 'synth history', this design started with the MOTM-300 Ultra VCO in 5U, which is still today the BEST THERE I GODDAMM SAID IT BEST VCO in that format. Yes, great VCO indeed. Blindtests I did in the past also highlighted the ModCan01B: http://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?...

Cwejman SM-1

Getting familiar with the wonderful Cwejman SM-1. All sounds are solely from the SM-1. https://soundcloud.com/poly_mod/sm-1-arp The two VCOs are tuned in a fifth, first one is a SAW, 2nd a PWM Saw. The PWM is done by LFO2. LFO1 modulates the cutoff of the filter as well is the spacing of the filter....

Nice example Disquiet !! I think I'm more interested in though if you have all the others do you really need the MMF-1S that's missing something you can't already get out of the others? And if yes, which combos would you ditch in favor of multiple MMF-1s. Cwejman has a lot of filter options, all ex...

MMF-1s is the most versatile Cwejman filter (I have them all). It can handle clean, abstract, dirty and nostalgic. Here's an example of the latter:
