jfloftin I think you had a pretty good run with that pot ! The only sealed Alphas I've every seen are the Tayda 16mm ones. They aren't what I'd call high end at all. Maybe Small Bear pots and covers separately. I think they carry them.

It could cause some tuning problems if certain parts of the circuit require exactly 12V. It really depends on what your using it for.
I would consult the manufacturer of the modules you are using it for.

I never found a fix for this, then the place I sent it to to have a look at it burned down. So it's not a problem anymore.

I sometimes get a different response from the 218e keyboard attached to my DIY 208r Easel. I seem to think even humidity could be a factor.

I'm a bit leery of this because it looks like it would scratch panels badly.

What I use is a double loop of around 22 gauge wire (or whatever you can fit under the knob) ; one loop each side of the shaft , pull directly up and away from the panel.
