Paul posted on facebook that he's finishing the last few pre-orders and then sending the first retail batch to dealers, so E520 should be in stores soon.
Nice, thanks for the info. :)

Re: Filter recommendation(s), to round out the herd.

I love pretty much every filter I've had - except for Morpheus. It just doesn't sound right to me, and the knobs are too tightly spaced, so it's a pain to operate, in my opinion. DinSync Sara is probably my favorite filter. Dual core, multi mode with lots of sweetspots. It's lovely. Highly recommend...

Re: Album of eurorack only - IDM-ish

Ah, really? Nice! Thanks! :) Ab•so•lutely! :D I don’t remember where I per-chanced upon it, but there’s a cool playlist called Modular Synthesizer Music Artists Discovery by Franck Martin on Spotify that features a ton of modular-heads. Not sure how to contact him, but you should totally be on that...

Re: Album of eurorack only - IDM-ish

I know, I must be the last person in the world without a spotify account. Listening to that link above now on youtube (Vitaminskodder). Sounds great. The bellish sounds, kick and snarish thing are lovely. Good stuff Daisuk Ah, but people are migrating from Spotify now! I personally like Bandcamp mo...

Re: Introducing Maestro - 6 channel clocked modulation controller from Acid Rain Technology

This thing is great. I basically just bash in rhythms a rather randomly, but depending on where you chuck the outputs, you're bound to get some interesting results. Very musical! Love it. :) well done, Acid Rain!

Re: Album of eurorack only - IDM-ish

jup. I like this one very much, too! :) Any backstory one those titles? My Norwegian is a tad rusty... :p Hey, thanks again. :) They're kind of joke names, you can make new words in Norwegian by combining two words, so you can make a few bizarre sounding things. I guess translating it to English it...

It's the open ended-ness for me. There are no rules. You can experiment which ever way you want. It's lovely. I would never be able to create anything remotely similar to the stuff I'm creating now with "regular" synths or soft synths.

I like this quite a lot: thanks for sharing! Reminds me of Lucid Grain from time to time (mostly their first album) Only thing I personally don't really like are the seemingly arbitrary/generic track titles As of a genre: I think experimental electronics would be quite fitting. To my taste it's sti...

Album of eurorack only - IDM-ish

This is the second record I release in about month - it contains recordings from the summer of 2019 up until late fall 2020. All eurorack. This one is a bit more accessible than the last I released , I reckon. https://open.spotify.com/album/3VYC3x5pe7ir6BMo24tbBT?si=jW_1mse2S_C31AuGqiYRUQ https://ww...

So, are there any good compilations of old music from various cultures you guys recommend? Not sure I've heard Nigerian classical music (or whatever the fuck you want to call old music from Nigeria), for instance.

Re: Mutable Instruments Clouds 2 (watching us from the dark side)

Re: Introducing Maestro - 6 channel clocked modulation controller from Acid Rain Technology

How’s this compared to the voltage block? Say you wanted to sequence a filter cutoff to open on the 8th step? Is the maestro the better tool for the job? I find the VB workable, but kind of finicky for the task. I really wish ModularGrid had CV voltage as one of the data points so you could just ho...
