Re: Secret weapon processing (plugins/hardware)

Dbx 165a for snare processing. This thing got ridiculously expensive lately though as it is the case with many other things posted in this thread like the h3000's. Hope that someone might get better luck in their local market.

Some kind of seq/sampler combo. Samplers are good synths. :guinness:

A lot of people also use the Korgs for this thing, think Monologue, Minilogue /XD or their bigger brothers. :guinness:

Mid-sider seems really nicely done with all the bells and whistles, been using the Worng euro thing for a while and tempted to get something more studio friendly, thanks for posting this. :guinness:

Re: Analog Rytm MKII

I wish they'd just rerelease the MnM and MD in a modern box (the black ones I mean) with the probability stuff added. How hard would that be? How many would they sell? Can't comment on the MnM but a lot of people think the Rytm sounds better than the MD so no need for them going back towards a weak...

Agree with a lot of what other people have listed. To add:

Make Noise Phonogene
Nord Rack 2
Roland JV 1080
Roland SH01-A
Those were also standards back in the day. Great list. :guinness:

In fairness, will admit this one gave my pony a little gallop. The 960 is wonderful simple sequencer and a lot of HP in 5U. Not sure of any 960 in euro.
Oakley has something similar available, also not a straight clone, it actually has character.
