741's really aren't all that great. I'd recommend using the TL07x series instead. AFAIK you aren't gonna get much "character" out of a 741, just poor specs.

Another easy way to do PCB panels in KiCAD is to export your entire panel layout in DXF format from whatever program you're using to design it, and then import that directly into PCBNew. Then, all you have to do is align the holes correctly and you're set!

I used Project-PCB when I did the Living Memory VCOs run. Not the cheapest for small quantities, but far better quality than ITEAD or the like. They also have a matte black option which is absolutely goddamn gorgeous.

With some adjustments and a trimmer I was able to get roughly 3 octaves of 1/v oct tracking out of the circuit as is. I wasn't testing for drift though and it was in a case where the temp around the expo convertors probably wasn't changing much. But it was much more stable than I expected. Oh nice!...
