Ah. I don't own this module but is it possible it's trying to load the invisible indexing files the Mac OS tends to create? Usually they're the same file name preceded by an underscore, which would explain the half/half split. There are a few apps that will clean these from a drive, also probably a ...

The menu on the e352 is 100% no big deal. It’s not deep or cryptic. Easiest menu ever. Wonderful piece of kit and priced reasonably for what it is.

There's a great old scream patch on Vimeo. I adapted the technique for 3 Sisters last Halloween: http://soundcloud.com/romjay/halloween-2017 Do you recall any patch notes? I'm gonna give it a try, I have a 3 Sisters but none of those particular MN modules, though I guess the principle should be the...

I'm guessing you have 'damp' all the way counter-clockwise? If not that'll help. I've noticed that certain sources will also perceptually seem to ring out more, also make sure it's a good strong signal. Either way it'll be a very short percussive 'pluck' with a fast attack (and probably some bleed w...

Download and unzip this https://github.com/xaocdevices/USB-flasher-app/archive/master.zip Install python, open the "python launcher" then within that select open>XAOC Firmwa...

loachhat Which linear supplies are you using with your Intellijel boards? I just got some used, random giant brick of a thing on eBay for a decent price. Amperage to spare. Downside: I have to keep spring tanks at least 4-5 feet away from its giant, humming transformer  edit: and no it's not...

Initially I dropped noise dramatically with a passive transformer-based DI w/ a ground lift, though then I needed to follow it with preamps. Then made the jump to a linear supply from a switching Meanwell (same busboards, Intellijel) which achieved about the same noise drop with or without the groun...

Pretty sure the location is closed for good. Unfortunately he built up some ill-will (especially regarding repairs) not only in town but here and elsewhere online. He and the shop seemed to be liked by folks not in on the gossip but the gossip wasn't flattering.

A quick note if you're not aware that the newer Just Friends firmware has a narrower range to make tuning easier (at the expense of slower rates). He actually did a version of each so you can choose your flavor, easier tuning vs sloooow modulation.

I'd bet more on any clone other than an MS-20 clone, given how cheap the MS-20 Mini is already. I dunno, I was leaning towards the MS-20 clone they teased due to the number of patch points in the pic. I was one of the three eurorack-sized clones that were in the tease they posted earlier. Mmmm weir...
