Re: Gear suggestions: moving away from Elektron

the cv/gate outs, smaller size, and more dedicated buttons really frees up the MPC One compared to the Live. The workflow is kind of backwards from Elektron, but its a lot more user friendly once you get the hang of things. I loved elektron, but I've gotten rid of everything but my Analog Keys and I...

threaded strips suck. i'd much rather sliding nuts and i don't understand why everyone has such problems using them.

i understand that, and I think we've all been very patient considering current events. Still, they probably should have said "shipping to retailers soon" and not claimed that they were already at retailers ready to ship to customers.

Re: Expert Sleepers disting EX

Looks like DetMod charged my CC today so maybe they are getting some in today? When did you order? It took them a few days to process and charge my order at the beginning of the month, but I'm still waiting along with everyone else. I ordered the day it was announced, but yes maybe I shouldn’t have...

i had one of the lights go out on my intellijel bus board (not sure if it was -12 or one of the other ones) and it needed to be replaced. they sent me a new one.

No doubt this will be a very powerful module with lots of new functionality being added from time to time. Not to be negative but i really don't dig the design though. Would be great to see some panel replacements
you can always put a sticker over it :despair:

ordered a b stock unit from Thomann for about $350. it showed up flawless. i had played a friend's Korg version a few years ago and didn't really vibe with it, but the B version is really doing it for me. its heavy and solid, sounds great, and love that its full size. was kind of an impulse buy beca...

will never get why people think sliding nuts are so difficult to use. get a magnetized allen wrench set from home depot or harbor freight even, and the nuts are a piece of cake to position. i've had many more problems with threaded strips not lining up properly, stripped threads, etc. the idea of th...

i had to mount my Verb upside down to get mine to fit in the space i needed it to. kind of annoying, but the inputs/outputs ended up lining up better with my performance mixer mounted this way, and i got used to it.

I just pulled the trigger on the MPC One even though I've used every modern Elektron box, the Roland MC-707, Roland TR-8S... To think of an unlimited in scope sample based machine as a child's toy is foolish based on the open endedness. I consider every Behringer mono synth to be a child's toy but ...
