Re: Korg SQ-64

Another tidbit I can’t find info on is whether or not the Pitch/Gate/Mod lengths are tied to each other per track. I’m assuming they are, but it would have been killer to have allowed them to have individual lengths. Perhaps in a future update.

Re: Korg SQ-64

I’m super tempted by this little fella! Does anyone know if the Mod CV tracks have a slide feature to smoothly change values from step to step? (I know... I should probably just read the manual.) The manual is quite brief and only mentions slide with reference to pitch CV and gate. But modulation C...

2. I was not hoping for independent control of levels, just an overall level increase/decrease.
No problem! Just to be clear. It is only the level of the main signal at Output 1 that is controlled, not an overall level change for the four outputs.
Gotcha. Thank you!

Re: New MI Tides; 2014 version discontinued

Thinking about getting a Tides, but just want to make sure it can do what I’m hoping it can... Read the online manual, but didn’t see it specifically addressed. In the 90° quadrature setting, can you shift the 4 outputs from 90° apart to unison? And can you also control the amplitude of the outputs...

As for Rings sounding like not-Rings, I released an album around the concept almost exactly two years ago :)

Here is Rings in Buchla format sounding very alien...

Granted, it has both Mode and Polyphony inputs to give it even more variation, but still... pretty tasty!

Perhaps this quote better illustrates what I thought Miles was saying...

No it’s not dumb at all. What’s dumb is not seeing the value in what Miles was saying and the context he was saying it in.
I should have written “dumb it may be (to you)”.

Re: Lack of space in music

Thanks man! Happy someone got something out of it. :) I always thought this was the dumbest quote ever about music. And dumb it may be, but it was just what I needed to hear back in the early 90s when I was first starting out singing in a band and learning about writing music. I was always so focus...

Re: Ned Lagin Seastones

Was just watching Long Strange Trip on Prime and I think I spotted someone carrying a Buchla or EMU system off the stage at one point in the episode we were on (4 or 5), which made me think of Seastones. I then looked it up and found out that they’d released this new expanded version. Going to go ch...

Just take a sample of a trig pulse as described in this video and run it out of one of the OT’s 4 outputs into Pam’s Clock input to test.

Re: Mixer/Interface for eurorack that records post fader?

Bumping this old thread to see if there’s anything new in the realm of mixers that can record more than 2 individual tracks post-fader... preferably 8. I was hoping to avoid buying a bunch of 2hp Trim modules or Koma attenuator cables to get my levels down to normal. Any luck with the L12, behndy ?...

Re: Announcing ALM017 - Pamela's NEW Workout

Can someone please tell me if the smooth random is AC or DC? I want to invert it outside of Pam’s but not sure if I need to offset it too. AC vs DC is just a measure of how slowly a signal is changing. If it's able to stay above or below 0v for the duration required for an envelope or lfo, it's DC....

Anyone? 90% sure it's AC as Pams only outputs 0v to +5V. But I may be missing something? Thanks, ronnieb. That’s what I was thinking too, b...
