Most things in the analog domain have already been designed. A big part of designing at the project level is just incorporating the building blocks together to perform the desired function.

If you want a 7, 8, 9... roll just add more stages to any of the paper circuits rollz.

Take a look at the System Cartesian from Make Noise. Hunt around and get that same set of modules (or similar ones from different companies) used and start from there. Be prepared to buy/sell until you have tried enough to know what works for you.
