Sequencer reset issues

Hey all, I'm triggering my MFB Schalgzverg out of clocks from my modular, often with clock dividers, and I keep having an issue whereby random bars get thrown a 16th out of sync with a reset trigger. Sometimes it goes fine, other times it doesn't. I've tried midi triggering, tried leaving out the do...

Anyone got any Wiard Xmix tips?

Hi folks,

I just got ahold of one of these and am wondering about the different possibilities. Anyone have any favourite/crazy/mindblowing patches and tips?

Thanks!

I got a Peterson strobotuner HD which is epically killer. One of its best features is that it has an octave display as well as note. Really easy and accurate and highly visible, it's the cream of the crop and highly recommended.

After much deliberation I think the Peterson Strobo HD looks perfect, just a little bit more than the Korg but the features are great, and it does indeed show which octave you're in. The small footprint means I have a little spot where I can keep it, so it won't be in the rack but I think it'll work...

Jones O'Tool tuning - just how inaccurate?

Hey folks,

So, I was reading in the O'Tool documentation that they don't recommend using their tuner as an absolute reference due to slight fluctuations in its own electronics.

Has anyone been keeping track of how accurate theirs is over time, and how much of an issue this is(n't)?

Thanks!

Rack mount tuner for my modular

Hi folks, I wanted to put a 19" rack mount tuner into my studio. Looks like the new Korg jobbie at $110 might fit the bill, but I'm wondering if any of y'all have had any experience with any/many rack mount tuners with your synths. I'd love it if a tuner could tell me which octave I'm in as well, bu...

leeski Do you know anyone who makes a smaller panel? That would be cool indeed. Opus110 I'll PM ya! errorsmith Yeah those are all very valid points. I'm looking to use a bunch of Triatts to take care of much of that. RE Hard sync, thanks for pointing that out. RE Love - sigh don't tell me!!! I'm ru...

ASys RS95e vs Intellijel Dixie II

Hello all, I have a gorgeous ASys RS95e oscillator. I love it to death. Wow. Such Analogueness. Amaze. Etc! I'd really love to pair it up with a second or third of the same, but my case is totally full and they are very big :( I've been eyeing up the Intellijel Dixie II as a really capable all-round...

Wellurban would you be able to throw me a bone with the A-152? Every now and then I try to buy a module that I TOTALLY do not understand, I enjoy the experimentation and naive process a lot. With that one though, I've ready the Doepfer description repeatedly and glazed over every time, the only time...

This is neat to watch, even if the audio is sketchy.

Try giving 2egress a holler too, they made me some super nice custom stuff and are already making skiffs, it's quite possible they could make a smaller one for you. Their work is beaaaaautiful! The pictures really don't do them justice...

OH! And I also have audio and triggers going into the modular via the tieline panels - triggers from synths and drum machines set up on the opposite rack and audio from Pro Tools. The tieline panels each have four connections to the back of the case, and four to eachother, so it's a tidy way to send...

Oh and a bit more info - I'm currently patched in and out of non-modular world in a few different ways: Pitts Out on the top left (not in shot) running through the Eventides chain along the top of the case, into a stereo pair in the mixer. Top two sockets on each of my tie-line panels (left one is s...

So a while back I promised a picture when the whole system was in use... Here's a quick nasty one off my iPhone.
