Re: Intellijel Tetrapad

I imagine running it through a slew limiter would clean it up. That's correct, if you engage more slew on the pad it reduces the noise. It's mainly caused by micro-variations in position detection, so changing your sensitivity and settings or using a more pointy thing than your finger can also help...

Re: Intellijel Tetrapad

+5 to -5 maximum. You can set the maximum range of the fader in increments of one volt if you need a little more precision. I'd never heard of the noise problem but I just tested it and you can definitely hear it if you open up a vca with a sine wave feeding it. I've used the fader to open VCAs bef...

Re: Intellijel Tetrapad

Hi, in the Tetrapad manual I could not find the output voltage ranges for the bipolar fader mode or the preset cv output modes. I looked around through the threads but still don't have a clear idea of what the voltage ranges are for the different modes. Also I read that there was some kind of noise ...

Trying to find the answer to this somewhere...
When stopped, can you press the Tempi’s button(s) to send a trigger (or gate) from its outputs, allowing for a manual playing of gates?
nope, you can mute channels and unmute them but you can't use the buttons as manual gates

Re: HERTZ DONUT MARK III - shipping now!

I have not tried it out yet, but that is what he wrote me in response of a email request. I did not though that it's known since June. Hopefully this does not mean that it is too complicated to fix. I like the unison too much on some patches to leave it and I tend to keep a preset when I like it in...

Re: HERTZ DONUT MARK III - shipping now!

After more exploration it seems to me that the whole fold and parts of the modulation section randomly shuts down and becomes totally unaccessible after more or less much activity in preset mode. Even the fold knob does not have an effect anymore. After some time without touching anything it random...

I just sold my erbe-verb and the buyer claims there's "digital artifacts/noise" when turning the mix knob. I've never noticed anything of that nature. Is this a known issue, any idea how to get it fixed? I am guessing that the mix knob is an analog part of the circuit and that what they are hearing...

Hi, I just picked a second hand Erbe-Verb but I have a problem: when I adjust the Size knob I get some bleepy metallic noise. This seems to be expected when you move the knob suddenly but in my case it happens even if I do it very slowly. This however doesn't happen if I send a fixed voltage in the...

sorry to be that person again but I noticed a funny behavior in fw 1.5, tune the main oscillator to 188hz or higher and set the fm ratio on either operator to x16, when you introduce fm you get an unexpectedly slow modulation, like a slow lfo instead of x16 audio rate. I rebooted the module and sti...

The behavior I’m noticing is actually only true for the Y cv input, x and z do maintain their unique attenuverter values despite selecting both oscillators or toggling between them. Needless to say if this is a pretty insignificant bug Good eye. That same issue (Y-axis does not allow different CV b...

I know how to use a sequencer to select presets using cv, just thought this would be cool in small systems without tying up a sequencer. Since the preset manager can already be set up to step through all 8 presets with a trigger input where the cv knob acts as an offset from the encoder selection, I...

I have a suggestion for an alternative way the preset cv input could respond when set to triggers. I wonder if it would be possible to have a "Trig + Attenuator" behavior, where instead of the knob by the cv input offsetting the morph/preset value (which can already kind of be achieved with the enco...

This is great! Am I correct in noticing a different behavior with the attenuverters on the x, y and z wave cv inputs? you can use Synthesis Technology’s free Wave Edit software to create your own wavetables or download ones created by other users. Just follow the instructions in the disting manual to format them properly, it worked great for me :•)

Love the Hertz Donut and the firmware update is great! Just wanted to see if anyone can reproduce this behavior: Save a preset with the pitch CV input attenuverters on OP A / OP B dialed in to a small range, and see if the preset manager recalls this. (I have the preset manager set to recall all set...
