first tracks from my new psybient project

https://soundcloud.com/cromafor

Main sound source is my eurorack. The rest comes from various samples and softsynths. Lots more to come over this summer.

Can the cv inputs be used to control the phase of the waveforms?
In other words, could this be used as a keyframer like MI Frames?

I saw that in my search results. Odd thing is that it says 95 as the price under the link in the sidebar, and N/A as the price once you get to the page. Even if they do have one in stock, I don't think I'd pay that much for it. Hoping to find one used somewhere. If I could find just the plug part on...

replacement cable for a specific monitor?

I got a panasonic TC-7WMS1 for free today, minus the breakout cable for power and video in. I've looked in quite a few places online, and haven't been able to find one. Here's the monitor: http://www.globalmediapro.com/dp/A00YK7/Panasonic-TC-7WMS1-7-inch-LCD-Monitor/ The cable was originally made by...

The button switches the blue channel between horizontal and vertical, and the width of the bars along with the reduced frequency range are the same with both. Only the blue channel is doing it. The only thing I can think of is that I must have got the polarity of something wrong. Its hard to see the...

So I finished my kit, and everything works fine, except the range of the blue oscillator. Turning the pot only moves through a very small range of frequencies compared to the other 2 oscillators. I looked over the board and didn't notice any mistakes. Anyone with more experience than I have an idea ...

looking for a small mixer for the top of my live case

Im looking for a small mixer to go on top of my doepfer monster base case. The top of the case is very wide, and not very deep (see picture below). It's about 6.5 inches deep. I'm having a hard time finding something that would fit on top of it, but still has a decent number of channels, at least on...

I can't seem to find the power specs for it anywhere I've looked online, but that totally makes sense. Thanks.

New module working with one power supply, but not another

I just got my Sputnik West Coast Random module. and something is happening that I don't understand. When I plug it into my uzeus, it powers up and works fine. When I install it in my main case (doepfer monster base), it doesn't power on at all. I switched it back and forth again, triple checking the...

My house is hosting an experimental noise show in a little under 2 weeks. One of the headliners, LSDV, is a pretty unique video act, so I figured I'd let people on here know. They use a bunch of vcr's playing different tapes from their collection. One guy processes and mixes all the video, while the...

The glitch mode suggestion got me close to what I wanted. xor got me a little closer, then putting it into chord mode with the detuning turned up thickened it up a bit. I'll try out some more of the suggestions in the morning, but here's what I got tonight. [soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.co...

guttural sounds with shapeshifter?

I'm trying to get disgusting, guttural, trashy sounds out of my shapeshifter I figured I'd make a post and see if anyone has any ideas or settings they've used before. Another way to put it would be low frequency sounds with crunchy textures, if that makes sense. I realize that may sound vague. I'll...

My favorite right now is my Mungo d0. I do a lot of feedback patching and you can get some really wild sounds by plugging the two delay lines into a matrix mixer with some other signal processors. There's a really wide range on the delay times so you can zip up from trippy dub delays into karplus te...

+1 on the Unify. Super clean, and all the pots are sealed so no scratchy noises when adjusting anything.
You can add up to 3 input expanders, so you can go up to 16 channels.
I use one in my live case and love it.

A performance I did last night. 100% modular. Visuals are a Dave Jones MVIP processing a video collage I made. I'd definitely recomend the mungo g0. Expensive, but unlike anything else I've heard. I have both a g0 and a phonogene. The phono is awesome for rythmic patches. The window size is quantized, so you can get equal divisions of a sample, then switch between them with the slide control. Great for stutt...

I definitely prefer slotted. Because of gaps, and the less common but equally frustrating overlaps. I at one point received a new module that had the mounting holes drilled slightly off from where they should have been, making it impossible to put some of my modules next to it. It required rearrangi...
