zyklus-like arpeggiator on kickstarter? (NDLR)

I haven't ever actually seen / used a zyklus, and I have no affiliation / don't know the makers of this thing. But it looks like it does some of the things claimed about the zyklus. And either way it looks pretty rad. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thendlr/the-ndlr-a-multi-part-polyphonic-arpe...

Nice! Your bump prompted me to look at this again and clean up my pd patch a bit. I think I had made it with pd extended - so updated it for modern pd + dekken. (It requires the cyclone library for pong~). I also swapped out the cyclone scope~ objects with simpler vanilla arrays. I've found this pat...

New boards are out

I tested the new revisions, did a run of 40 and have put 10 on tindie so far - DM me if you want to grab one through here. The updates are as follows: - Euro and motm power footprints - Pull-up for the accent control to make it easier to tie high - Slightly (but not by much) larger board - Improved ...

I was having the same issue the other week- messing with the trimpots seemed to mostly fix it. I have another issue/question- how is the trigger button and trigger i/o supposed to work? If I'm understanding it should send a trigger from the trigger i/o jack when the button is pressed, but hitting t...

anyone have experience calibrating a serge RVG/S+H?

This thread has been pretty input-less in the diy section but I figured someone in here might know some secrets: https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=157246 I'm trying to figure out the best calibration procedure for the RVG - specifically how to tune the relationship between the serge ...

what's your problem with getting it apart? are you sure you got all the screws out? you just remove the 4 screws through the feet and the 4 on top and it should slide apart easy Yep - I definitely had all the screws out. It was pretty hard to get put together in the first place as well (took a bit ...

I've been having the exact same issue calibrating mine. I was able to mitigate it somewhat by a LOT of trial and error with the unipolar noise trimpot - and also I needed to tweak the smooth and stepped trim pots as well... they all seem to affect each other, and the problem. I'm sure I could still ...

I really love mine. I have an aluminum one. The only problem is I ended up with a too-loose footscrew that fell off inside and I'm having a hell of a time getting the thing back open!! Isn't that because it's not really a ramp or a saw, it's a skewed triangle?
Are you asking or telling? Is it meant to be a skewed triangle instead of ramp/tri/saw?

Re: CGS LFO - possible to get a sharp sawtooth/ramp?

Are the swoops concave or convex? I probably shouldn't have used the word 'swoop' - I looked on a scope and they are linear. So just a too-slow of a rise to be a ramp, and too-slow of a fall to be a saw tooth. If Zealot Vague is having the same issue on a breadboard and Troubleshooter thinks the ci...

CGS LFO - possible to get a sharp sawtooth/ramp?

At full CCW, or CW of the shape pot - I find that the rising edge of the ramp and the falling edge of the sawtooth have a significant slope to them - not nearly as instantaneous as a true sawtooth or ramp. Is this the case for everyone's builds? Anyone know if there's away to tighten up those swoops?

For the record - 10k voltage divider/output resistors on the shape outs of the LFO's worked pretty well for me. They swing from roughly 0 - 5.5v now. It would be nice to get a LITTLE more cause the 73VCF takes a little more to open all the way - but they're pretty good this way imo. I didn't end up ...

I noticed the filter doesn't self oscillate as easily now that I switched to 12v. I haven't re-calibrated it yet - maybe that's the only problem?

Or maybe something else should be changed? (though I'm assuming this circuit was sort of designed by serge to run on +/-12 anyway right?)

the utility lfo has a resistor voltage divider on each output. in order to adjust the output levels, change the ratio of these resistors. if the output level is too low, increase the value of the 1K resistors going to ground... I'm finally getting around to actually doing this. it looks like there'...

You need some sort of Color Video Encoder and Sync Generator. LZX has a few options. Alternatively, you could use: Dave Jones MVIP or 3TrinsRGB+1c Yeah I'm aware of those (excellent) options. And I do have a 3trins, but I'm wondering if there's away to DIY the chrominance signal using 'vanilla' aud...
