I had and used an MVIP extensively before my Vidiot came in the mail. Comparing the colorizers and effects that both are capable of, I prefer the Vidiot. The colorizer is a lot more fun to play around with, and the solarization and such is a lot easier to control with finer detail. I don't even care...

if you're just trying to interface audio eurorack modules with Vidiot, the attenuators are capable of scaling down from euro levels to video levels. Having some mixing would definitely come in handy though.

Oh, yes. That works really well with the music. It reminded me a lot of the liquid light effects. So psychedelic, very 60s. Thanks. thanks!! for my next gig I'm gonna set up a liquid rig in between the camera and feedback monitor to go deeper in that direction. liquid light shows and the Beat Club ...

here's a couple of videos from a show i did this weekend in philadelphia with Vidiot and eurorack controlled laser. I'll be honest, a lot of the time it didn't really work or look the way i wanted it to but it was a really fun show and by all reports a devastating effect so here it is, check it out ...

Ok so all the demos of the STVC sound noticeably better than the Streichfett demos, anyone know what's up? Does the STVC have better DAC/ADC/some other hardware, did they tweeak the firmware, or are the recordings just better? Or I am being psychologically fooled some how? :hmm: I did a lot of the ...

I wasn't planning on using it for this (thanks for the idea, it's great!) but I'm adding a Doepfer dual VC panner/crossfader to my laser rig, which might be what you're looking for. You could feed one of them X information and the other Y information and send a CV signal to go between them. 2 mixers...

As my first ever post I would just like to say that the 0-Coast is a major Eurorack gateway drug! Agreed! I kept my nose out of the eurorack crack bowl for many years, right up until I get the 0-coast. Now I'm screwed. the 0-Coast helped me downsize my eurorack to a somewhat sane level! I ha...

I went from a huge rig down to a 9U 120 HP setup and it was the single best synth decision I've ever made. For some reason I just like stopped fucking around and got down to the business of using it to make music and that has been the greatest journey of them all

you'll always get more money if you sell independently, but there's something to be said for a nice clean even trade deal even if you kinda get hosed in the process. When I'm trying to figure out what a shop is going to offer me, I take 80 percent of retail (usually) as a rough guess of what they're...

I use the audio outputs a lot in video patches. It's really amazing what you can do with just a Wogglebug clocked in time with the music and a Dave Jones MVIP. the audio outs patched into the hues or brightness give wonderful ever changing bars of color and light, and with the other controls/cv inpu...

I've got two Maths and two Wogglebugs in my system, because those are my favorite modulation sources. The kinda weird one that I have is four Malekko SND/RTN modules. The things I want to do next is to play with space. I typically put my lights around the dance floor and I want to explore "wave" like behavior, sort of simulating vibration on a string.
