New Buchla LP: Heliopause

Post by noisejockey » Thu Apr 04, 2019 9:47 pm

Just dropped a new album that's 95% Buchla 200 series clone, only exceptions are a Ciat Lonbarde Tetrax and a Qu-Bit Octone in a Buchla Blade. :-) Music easel plus some extras.

Thanks to Steve Sommers, Sascha Haber, and Adam Scramstad for helping to build such an inspiring system.

This is great stuff, which sounds flip to say, but it is great, vast, expansive and a fabulous listen.

Awesomeness! Nathan explores the myriad sonic universes
hiding inside the Buchla. Heart-throbbing basses, punchy sequences,
crystalline sparkles and ever-shifting timbral spices. And, in the
bonus track, Debris Impact, he totally cuts loose with additional
bowed, plucked and smashed metal and percolating wood hits.

Yes, very nice!

Celestial Shelter is my favorite at the moment. Really made me long for Monday morning so I can go to the studio!
