Is the panel brushed like the original 200e panels or like the one in Vgermuse video?

....

This is a super elegant, super powerful module. If only it were "e" with storage, it would probably be a no-brainer for me over the 256e or 257e.

Well, the thing is it actually does nothing like the 256 and 257
I am thinking of adding a 256 to my system as it serves all the bread and butter conversions, but for that you need way more inputs than the 2OC provides.
The main feature of the 2OC is the quantiser, the sequencer and the LFO/Lorenz functions.
The are being generated internally and a 256 can be used to modify them further.
Its way more a replacement for a 281 and 266 then a 256 or 257 in my eyes.
Regarding the panel..
I have modules from Cynthia, Roman, B&A, Verbos and our own and they all have different front panels...some are more coarse, ours it very fine.
The are made in Germany and the cut and print quality is very high.
They are more shiny than the recent BEMI ones, but not so prone to getting dirty like the coarse ones.

Regarding saving...if there is a preset manager that does not require to buy a midi or mixer section we might will look into it. For now we are happy that the settings of every app can be saved locally in the 2OC and loads on reboot.

Hi Synesthesia, Thankd a lot for sharing the files- unfortunately I don't have Eagle, so was wondering whether you could share a pdf of the schematic?

I'm building a u4 Serge style version and was wondering what you did about the grounded switch on the trigger in jacks? Did you just put a pull down resistor on the input?

Thanks.

Hello !

there is a free version of eagle - that should help :)

we had the pdf up a while ago, but we had someone asking for the eagle files rather than pdf, so we went for this.
I'll check out the input - i don't think we to add a resistor at all. I'll make a screen cap for you once i am back to my own computer.

Serge format ... cool :) I was thinking making one at some point but it seems the demand was very low so didn't bother ( plus i had no serge anymore at that point in time )

this was the panel art :

btw - if you use our schematics - look out for the 5V source. the regulator is present on the euro version - but not on ours as we get 5V straight from the buchla power distribution

Amazing! Thanks for your help. I was thinking of the same panel layout but with the bananas at the top- might be a bit weird having the screen halfway down the panel. Not sure yet.

Hey all,

So I just ordered the mouser cart, but with cross-checking against the BOM I found a couple of missing parts:

8x NPN TRANSISTOR (MMBT3904-7-F)
1x 2 resistor

Also, be aware that the mouser cart/bom don't include the OLED screens and some headers for the teensy. And as usual, the Teensy is much cheaper from OSH Park.

[EDIT] There are indications on the pcbs, V-Bias, Input Bias and Output scale. Anything we should know about this? Can't wait to get this one started! :sb:
